For the first time in the history of the Housing Industry Associations (HIA) awards a local Sunshine Coast Builder has taken out the title of "AUSTRALIA’S MOST PROFESSIONAL BUILDER".

Ausmar Homes prides itself on customer satisfaction and gives their clients a building experience that cannot be matched by any other builder in the whole country – or so our peers say. The award is recognition of initiatives like the launch of our brand new Smart home range – a range of homes we have put together to meet the never ending demand of affordability, sustainability and small lot housing. It also recognises Ausmars commitment to improving work flow by using integrated state of the art job tracking software to track the progress of each and every job we have on our books - Ausmar has always remained one step ahead of the competition!

New Smart Display and Smart Car Give Away

The next few months at Ausmar are sure to be HUGE with the launch of our brand new Smart Home display at Stocklands Brighwater Estate on the 17th of July. We will be giving away a brand new car in conjunction with the opening of this new display home.

To be eligible for the Car giveway you will need to down load an entry form from the website - then visit our brand new SMART display home at Brightwater and guess the number of the SMARTies we have in the jar. A brand new SMART Ford Fiesta will be awarded to the first correct entry to correctly guess the amount of SMARTies in the jar – so good luck.

04DEC09 - Born To Be Builders

Howdy bloggers it has been another exciting couple of  weeks for Ausmar with plenty on our plates as always. Keep an eye on our ever changing website over the next week or so as we are about to launch 8 fantastic new  web productions.

Also coming up early next year – is the opening of our brand new display centre. Details to be released soon!

Our Bellflower display is going gangbusters - so if you haven’t popped down to say hello to Tony James make sure you do soon, it is well worth the trip..

A big congrats to Tony Bryan for completing his first ever Tri 3 weeks ago at Robina – awesome effort TB! Surprised those little chicken legs of yours carried you over the line.

Good luck to Tim Hendy for this weekends Mount Buller Hill climb – go get em ol son!

AUSMAR Homes’ advertising features children dressed up as builders not because they are amateurs, but because they were born to be in construction.

“We were keen to do something slightly different,” director Tim Hendy said.

“We adopted the tag ‘we were born to be builders’ because both my family and (fellow director) Tony Bryan’s family backgrounds are in construction.

“We sat around the table one day to talk about our marketing strategy and someone came up with the point that we were always destined to be in the building industry.

“My dad was in the building industry and I always wanted to get into it, but he said I needed to have a degree in something.

“So I became an accountant, and Tony’s the builder.”

And there is a Lennon and McCartney-like synergy to their business partnership, where one’s skills fill gaps in another’s knowledge base and vice versa.

The 17-year-old residential homes builder, which has offices at Cooroy and Caloundra, won the HIA State Professional Builder of the Year award for the third year in a row this year.

“That is a fairly big award for the building industry in general and we were up against every other builder in the state,” Mr Hendy said.

“We were pretty happy to win it three years in a row.

“HIA check us out quite thoroughly.

“We just like to give the customer what they want.

Last Friday night Tony Bryan attended the HIA “STATE” Housing Awards in Brissy, and for those that haven’t heard yet – we won one the biggest award of the night “2009 PROFESSIONAL BUILDER OF THE YEAR” …… for the 3rd YEAR IN A ROW!!!!

This year there were 15 finalists chosen from all around Queensland so it was a huge achievement to snag this award.

While on the subject of awards I would also like to give a big shout out to Nigel “yes i am salesman” Crook and Marc Wood for taking out the coveted “Champions Exhibit” for our stand at the Sunhine Coast Home and Lifestyle Expo – well done boys you must be so very proud!

30OCT09 - The Inaugural Blog

Howdy “bloggers”and welcome to the inaugural “blog “for Ausmar Homes.  We endeavour to use this platform as a way of getting info out about Ausmar Homes on weekly basis. There is a bit to catch up on so here goes. 

We have just come of the back of 2 industry award nights one for the (MBA) Master Builders Association and one being for the (HIA) Housing Industry Association. These are huge events in the building calendar and we are proud to announce that we have picked up the awards in the following categories;

9. HIA – Finalist “HOME OF THE YEAR”  

On the 15^thof the November we Launched our very first Fasttrack display home – “The Viewbank”. It is on display in Kepplegrove Drive Bellflower Estate, Sippy Downs, be sure to pop in say hello to Tony James. 

Our Smart Home Display Home has also kicked off construction this month in the New Brightwater Estate, Mountain Creek. Our Smart Home concept is a very unique range of homes that we are introducing to address affordability / sustainability and small lot housing issues on the Sunshine Coast, our display has also achieved a staggering 9 star energy rating. We are extremely passionate about this range and can’t wait to get the doors open late December.
